We are so happy to be able to celebrate punk with all of you! At Puntala we follow safer space principles. Together we make Puntala safer for everyone!DISCRIMINATION AND VIOLENCE FREE ZONE
There is no space for any kind of discriminatory language or behavior at Puntala. Here everyone is good as they are despite anyone s color of skin, background, sexuality, gender, shape of body or ability. There is absolutely no space for neither mental nor physical violence.RESPECT EVERYONE?S OWN SPACE
Don't touch anyone without their consent. Let everybody enjoy the gigs and the festival without being touched or harassed.NO MEANS NO!
If you are asked to stop or you are told "no!", listen! NO MEANS NO EVERY SINGLE TIME!EVERY BODY IS A GOOD BODY
Don't comment on anyone's appearance unless you are asked to.DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Don?t assume anyone's gender, sexuality, ability or background.TAKE CRITICISM, LISTEN AND CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR IF NEEDED
We all make mistakes and usually we mean no harm. If you are criticized by your behavior, listen, take responsibility and correct your behavior if needed. Dialogue is the key!ENJOY PUNTALA AND DO YOUR PART THAT EVERYONE ELSE CAN ENJOY IT TOO!

By attending Puntala you commit to these principles. Organizers have the right to remove persons violating the principles from the festival area.At Puntala we have a team of anti-harassment contact persons who are part of the Finnish Red Cross team. You'll recognize the anti-harassment contact team from red vests and the text HÄIRINTÄYHDYSHENKILÖ on them. If you encounter harassment or abuse and need support, please contact them. They can assess the situation, offer support and help you find other necessary services. All contacts will be handled confidentially!
Please notice that the anti-harassment contact persons don't have the right to remove anyone from the area, they can only advise the person/s to leave.
The anti-harassment contact team is available and present at the festival area during the whole festival at the Finnish Red Cross tent. The trained Red Cross team offers help in all health related situations and emergencies. Please seek help whenever needed and encourage others to do so - let's take care of each other!
